PDN’S 30 EMERGING PHOTOGRAPHERS TO WATCH: CAMILLA DE MAFFEI

NYC – The editors at PDN are proud to announce their picks for this year’s 30 new and emerging photographers to watch… and we are proud to announce they have selected Camilla de Maffei!

Each year since 1999, the editors of PDN have selected only 30 emerging photographers who represent a variety of styles and genres and have demonstrated a distinctive vision, creativity, and versatility worldwide. 

They’ve profiled 450 photographers and reviewed the work of thousands more talented individuals.

To be considered, the photographers must have been shooting on their own professionally for five years or less. Most were nominated by photo editors, art directors, curators, educators and fellow photographers around the world, and some were invited by editors based on work seen in promotions, portfolio reviews or photo contests.

Whether pushing the boundaries of closed societies or delivering striking images for commercial and editorial clients, the photographers profiled here have personal visions and senses of purpose that set them apart.
