Rascona’s Private Screening of “I Am: A WiSci Story”

It’s an honor to announce filmmaker Director Rodney Rascona has been working for the US State Department on the UN initiative STEAM: A poignant story of Hope & Transformation -echoing the voices and dreams of young women.

The documentary shot in Malawi over this past summer, takes viewers on the journey of 98 young women from the United States and five Sub-Saharan African countries, as they partake in the 2017 WiSci (Women in Science) Girls STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, Mathematics) Camp in Malawi.

He’ll have a private screening of this new film “I AM: A WISCI STORY” a few days from now! January 12th in Washington DC.

The film will be followed by a panel discussion on the impact of WiSci, and how public-private partnerships like WiSci can be used as a tool for diplomacy and development.
